KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has ordered the Rabita Committee to withdraw its call for Monday strike which the party had earlier announced to protest extra judicial killings of its workers.
The MQM chief also asked the traders and transporters to resume their activities which came to a halt on Sunday (today) in response to party’s call for a mourning day.
Speaking to Geo News, he criticized the Sindh chief minister for not coming out of “his palace to express solidarity with the families of slain MQM workers”.
He said that MQM workers staged demonstrations for eight hours last night outside the Chief Minister House. Hussain said that the government had failed in providing protection to the citizens.
