KARACHI: Former Chairman Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD), Babar Chughtai was detained by law enforcement authorities on Monday.
According to sources, Chughtai is suspected of facilitating target killers and the land mafia operating in Karachi.
Chughtai has been detained for interrogation and was shifted to an undisclosed location.

KARACHI: Former Chairman Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD), Babar Chughtai was detained by law enforcement authorities on Monday.
According to sources, Chughtai is suspected of facilitating target killers and the land mafia operating in Karachi.
Chughtai has been detained for interrogation and was shifted to an undisclosed location.
Meanwhile Chughtai’s family claims he was arrested two days earlier from his residence.
Interestingly the Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has termed Chughtai’s arrest an act of vengeance, adding that he has been detained only because he would donate to the party fund.
