KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has urged his party workers to ensure peace in NA-246, saying it is their constituency and they have to make it peaceful.
Addressing party workers in Jinnah Ground, Altaf Hussain asked his supporters to change their route if they face any rally of opponents in NA-246. He directed MQM leaders to use decent language in their speeches at rallies and public meetings.
MQM chief said he did not want to compete anyone in rallies in Karachi, adding that opponents will surely be defeated if they come for competition.
Altaf Hussain said he witnessed 'very small gatherings' of some parties in NA-246 today.
