Quetta: Security forces have thwarted militants attack at Frontier Corps Madadgar center near Chaman Housing Scheme, killing all the terrorists, according to Inter Services Public Relations.
The ISPR, the media wing of the military, said around five terrorist tried to enter the centre with an explosive laden vehicle, the security forces have killed all the militants and cleared the compound.
Earlier, militants launched gun attack on a Frontier Corps Madadgar center near Chaman Housing Scheme, police had confirmed.
Three explosions were also reported outside the centre, according to police.
Security forces are clearing the area, the ISPR said.
Today’s terrorist attack was reaction of Wednesday’s intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Killi Almas area of Balochistan, in which a high value target of LeJ involved in assassinations of over 100 innocent people of Hazara Community and police personnel was killed.
Two suicide bombers were also killed along with Salman Badeni, the provincial commander of the banned militant group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) on Wednesday.
