KARACHI: Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said Pakistan should not interfere in the matters of any sovereign country and that the parliament would take the final decision over Yemen situation.

Talking to newsmen here at the airport, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader said Pakistan itself is going through a bad situation and advocated use of diplomatic channels to resolve the issue as the military operation is not a solution to any conflict.

To a question, he said the PPP chairman Bilawal had no differences with any other leader within the party.

With reference to the upcoming by polls in Karachi, he said: “I urge all the parties to maintain law and order during the by-polls in NA-246 constituency”.
