KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has restrained his party workers and office bearers from any such act that might lead to a scuffle with opponents during electioneering in NA-246.

In a statement, Altaf Hussain said, “MQM workers and office bearers should avoid any action which leads to a brawl,” stressing upon party activists to also observe patience. He also asked his supporters not to feel any shame in stepping back from their position in order to avoid a brawl.

Altaf said MQM workers should not engage in any action which may give opponents a justification to look for a way out from election.

“Even if your staunch opponent comes to your home you should welcome him’’, Altaf urged the MQM workers, adding that workers should respond to their opponents’ conspiracies and propaganda through their votes.
