Google hosts Shahid Afridi at Singapore headquarters

SINGAPORE: Pakistan’s world renowned cricket allrounder and philanthropist Shahid Khan Afridi attended a luncheon hosted in his honour by Google here at their headquarters on Monday.
On this occasion, he gave to the Google Team an impressive presentation of his welfare organization Shahid Afridi Foundation and its new project ‘Hope Not Out’.
Afridi said in his tweet: “It was a privilege to be hosted for lunch at @Google headquarters #Singapore. Such a heart warming sight to see #Pakistani & #Indian youth working together to make a difference. Had a wonderful presentation of @SAFoundationN for #GoogleTeam & for cause of #Humanity #HopeNotOut.
Earlier, he hosted a special dinner for the prominent business leaders and corporate professionals of Singapore for providing an awareness of the SA Foundation and its work for humanity.
The cricket legend thanked the Pakistani and Indian community of Singapore to support his organization.
He also thanked the Pakistan high commissioner in Singapore Nasarullah Khan, who was the chief guest at the dinner.
