ISLAMABAD:  An Airport Security Force official was taken into custody after he brought down  a drone camera hovering over the new Islamabad International Airport.

The drone  was being operated by  workers of a Chinese  company who had permission to film the new airport that is scheduled to be inaugurated  early next month.

The TV channel reported that drone crashed and broke into pieces after being hit by bullets.

Initial reports suggest the ASF official grew  suspicious  after noticing the drone  and decided to shoot it down.

Name of the the official was not immediately known.
