ISLAMABAD: An Airport Security Force official was taken into custody after he brought down a drone camera hovering over the new Islamabad International Airport.
The drone was being operated by workers of a Chinese company who had permission to film the new airport that is scheduled to be inaugurated early next month.
The TV channel reported that drone crashed and broke into pieces after being hit by bullets.
Initial reports suggest the ASF official grew suspicious after noticing the drone and decided to shoot it down.
Name of the the official was not immediately known.
