Bomb found in suspicious bag in Karachi defused
KARACHI: A bomb found inside a suspicious bag near Qalandri Chowk in North Nazimabad area of Karachi on Saturday was defused successfully.
According to sources the 2.5 to 3kg bomb was found in front of the gate of Qalandri mosque.
Law enforcement agencies as well as the bomb disposal squad immediately cordoned off the area, and blocked surrounding roads.

A suspicious man who was caught recording a video of the site from his mobile was taken into custody.
According to sources, the bomb had text on it which read, “Al-Qaeda Subcontinent”.
