ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court on Monday granted an interim bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader former MNA Jehangir Tareen in Pakistan Television (PTV) and Parliament attack cases.
The litigation was being heard by ATC judge Shahrukh Arjumand. The court granted interim bail to Tareen against a surety bond of Rs 100,000.
The hearing was adjourned till April 16.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI chief Imran Khan is also on bail in the said cases.
Later, speaking to media outside the court, Jehangir Tareen denied meeting with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar.
