Army chief approves death penalty for 10 terrorists including Amjad Sabri's killers

ISLMABAD: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has approved death penalty for 10 militants including those who shot dead noted qawwal Amjad Sabri, the military's media wing said in a statement.
The late musician was murdered in Karachi while he was going to record a TV show.
The ISPR said that the militants, tried in a military court, were involved in killing of 62 people and heinous crimes against the state including attack on security forces and a hotel in Peshawar.
The terrorists were identified as as Muhammad Ishaq, Muhammad Rafique, Muhammad Arish, Habibur Rehman, Muhammad Fayaz, Ismail Shah, Muhammad Fazal, Hazrat Ali, Muhammad Asim and Habibullah.
