ACLC detains motorcycle lifting gang in Landhi
Under supervision of SSP ACLC Asad Raza, the ACL Police Landhi Division raided a suspected hideout of the mobs and arrested two gangsters Sohail Murtaza and Haroon Jones alias Lucky. The third mob member Shahjahan had managed to abscond from the scene.
KARACHI: Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) on Friday arrested a motorcycle-lifting gang in the locality of Landhi, and retrieved fourteen motorcycles from their possession.
Under supervision of SSP ACLC Asad Raza, the ACL Police Landhi Division raided a suspected hideout of the mobs and arrested two gangsters Sohail Murtaza and Haroon Jones alias Lucky. The third mob member Shahjahan had managed to abscond from the scene.
According to SSP ACLC Asad Raza, one mob member Sohail Raza being associated with a government occupancy abused ability to get away during snap-checking by showing his employee card.
The police has seized 14 motorcycles from possession of the involved persons and confiscated employee cards.
Inquiries lodged into the matter confirmed the party guilty of selling stolen as well as snatched motorcycles to local market and other several buyers.
Further investigations are being carried out in the matter.
