SARGODHA: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that he visited Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar as ‘Faryadi’ (petitioner) of Pakistan.

Addressing a public gathering in Sargodha here Friday, PM Abbasi said our opponents had a problem with my meeting with Chief Justice, “Yes I visited Chief Justice as ‘Faryadi’ (petitioner/complainant) of Pakistan.”

“I did not discuss any personal matter with the Chief Justice instead exchanged views for progress and prosperity of Pakistan. The CJP himself is my witness.”

The Prime Minister said PML-N government has completed record development projects in different sectors across the country during current tenure.

He said “we have been able to achieve 5.7 growth rate despite challenges.”

PM Abbasi went on to say loadshedding has been overcome there will also be no gas shortage from now on.

About horse-trading in recent Senate elections, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said such practices in politics should be stopped now.

PM Abbasi said that PML-N is the only party in Pakistan that has not bought any vote in the Senate election.

He challenged Imran Khan and Asif Ali Zardari to negate, on media, horse-trading in the recent Senate election.
