KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi on Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers tore up posters of Altaf Hussain as well as desecrated the yaadgar-e-shuhuda (martyrs memorial).

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi on Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers tore up posters of Altaf Hussain as well as desecrated the yaadgar-e-shuhuda (martyrs memorial).
Addressing a press conference after the faceoff between MQM and PTI in Azizabad's Jinnah Ground today, Rizvi said that the acts of vandalism committed by PTI’s Imran Ismail and his followers are highly condemnable.
He went on to say that PTI should not be allowed to stage its scheduled rally for April 19 at the Jinnah Ground.
He further said a large number of PTI workers reached Jinnah Ground without facing any obstacle, adding that children were playing cricket and Imran Ismail also joined them.
