BAHAWALPUR: The teachers at state-run schools in Bahawalpur have been directed not to wear jeans.
They have also been directed to not use mobile phones at the schools.
Official sources at Education Department told APP that directives have been issued to the heads of the schools to make the teachers bound not to wear jeans and avoid using cell phones.
“There were complaints lodged with the senior authorities that a number of teachers at government schools wear jeans and use mobile phones at that have been badly impacting the students,”the sources said.
The official sources further said that they also received complaints from the parents of the students that a number of teachers usually remained busy on their smart phones during classes.
“Teachers have been instructed not to use cell phones while in classrooms,” they said.
