PPP nominates Sherry Rahman as Opposition Leader in Senate
Sherry Rehman would replace Aitzaz Ahsan, also a senior leader of the PPP.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People's Party has nominated Sherry Rehman as Opposition Leader in the Senate, sources said on Wednesday.
According to Geo News, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has summoned senior party leadership for meeting at Zardari House to hold consultation.
Sherry Rehman would replace Aitzaz Ahsan, also a senior leader of the PPP.
Opposition backed independent canidate Sadiq Sanjrani and PPP lawmaker Saleem Mandviwala were appointed Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate respectively on Monday.
The PPP and the PTI had both joined forces to win the slots for Sanjrani and Mandviwala.
