PESHAWAR: Awami National Party leader Asfandyar Wali Khan has termed condemned prisoner Saulat Mirza’s allegations -- hurled at senior politicians -- ‘very serious and significant’ and demanded open investigation in to these.
Speaking to media here Tuesday, Asfandyar Wali said, ‘although Saulat Mirza’s allegations have no legitimacy as he had not recorded his statement before Magistrate but accusations are of serious nature.”
He said a joint investigation team should be formed to probe into these serious allegations.
Wali said it is strange Imran Khan has decided to hold local bodies election on non-party basis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and while he is demanding party based polls in Sindh and Punjab.
Commenting on Yemen turmoil, the ANP leader said, “Pakistan should not be part of Yemen fight as the country had suffered a lot owing to participation in Afghan war.”
