Alvi confident PTI’s Imran Ismail will take NA-246
KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced on Monday that the party ticket to contest by-elections from Azizabad has been awarded to Imran Ismail.

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced on Monday that the party ticket to contest by-elections from Azizabad has been awarded to Imran Ismail.
PTI’s MNA from Karachi Dr. Arif Alvi announced the decision to field Imran Ismail to contest the by-elections from NA-246 Azizabad which has been the Mutahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) stronghold.
Avli added, that the by-elections in will remain peaceful adding that only Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will win.
Alvi added, that the MQM should play its role in eliminating crime from Karachi. He stressed that the operation is not anti-MQM but in order to bring peace in the city.
Speaking on the occasion PTI’s Firdaus Shamim said, that MQM workers should come sit with them to formulate a code of conduct which will help both parties to campaign for the election.
Shamim added, that a British national does not have the right to interfere in what happens in Karachi.
