Japanese language speech contest held in Karachi
Karachi: Japanese Language Speech Contest, jointly organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Karachi and Pakistan Japan Cultural Association (PJCA), Sindh was held at the Japan Information and Culture Center.
Nine Pakistani students participated in the Contest where the contestants presented a wide range of interesting speeches with their excellent Japanese language skills.

Karachi: Japanese Language Speech Contest, jointly organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Karachi and Pakistan Japan Cultural Association (PJCA), Sindh was held at the Japan Information and Culture Center.
Nine Pakistani students participated in the Contest where the contestants presented a wide range of interesting speeches with their excellent Japanese language skills.
On this occasion, two Pakistani guest speakers were invited to give a speech sharing their experiences of studying in Japan under the Japanese Government’s scholarship programme.
Mr. Akira Ouchi, the Consul-General of Japan, emphasized in his speech that to learn a foreign language is the best way to learn about the culture and society of the country, thus the learners of the Japanese language will have better understanding on Japan.
Mr. Ouchi wished this annual event will further contribute to the promotion of the Japanese language in Pakistan and will thus deepen mutual understanding between the people of Japan and Pakistan.
