LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Senator Sirajul Haq Sunday said the ultimate beneficiary of the ongoing war in Gulf would be Israel since it is always the infidel world that ends up reaping the fruits whenever a battle erupts between Muslim states.
“Pakistan should come forward to douse the flames of the war underway in Gulf. We would never want to see escalation of tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran,” Sirajul Haq said while talking to media men here at Mansoora where a two-day training workshop concluded today.
He said the Pakistan government did not come up with any sentimental statement on the ongoing Gulf war since a decision on the issue requires a serious and thorough thought process.
Sirajul Haq announced that JI is all set to kick off a public contact campaign from April 3 in Gujranwala and it will continue till 15th.
He said the prevailing situation of the country called for bringing together all the oppressed classes of society. “People from minorities’ communities and from all walks of life would be brought into the folds of Jamat-e-Islami,” he asserted.
The JI Amir said Pakistan and oppressors can no longer move along simultaneously. “It is due to this class of oppressors that ever single citizen of the country is under a burden of debt and the degree holders with the potential to qualify on merit remain unemployed,” he regretted.
