RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif attended the inaugural session of the Scientific symposium held at Army Medical College on Thursday.
Addressing the event, the COAS appreciated the services rendered by doctors and paramedics of the Army Medical Corps during war and peace. The Army Chief said that courage, determination and spirit of sacrifice displayed by AMC in the war against terrorism particularly during operation Zarb-e-Azb is highly commendable.
The Army Chief added that enormous contributions made by AMC in the management of TDPs are praiseworthy.
He made special note for Army Medical Corps’s commendable contributions in national emergency situations including disasters as well as humanitarian campaigns
