KARACHI: The former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court on Thursday welcomed the formation of a judicial commission to investigate rigging during the 2013 general elections.
The former CJP, Justice (R) Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry on said, he will appear before the judicial commission to give his point of view if he is summoned. He added, that his Rs 20 billion defamation claim against unsubstantiated allegations by Imran Khan stands adding that his hands are clean.
He added, that the court’s ruling on Karachi’s law and order problems is clear that armed-wings of political parties must be abolished and that the police must to be depoliticized.
