RISALPUR: Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on Thursday said that Pakistan currently faces internal and external challenges.
Operation Zarb-e-Azb has broken the backs of the terrorists, he said while speaking to cadets at a passing-out ceremony at the Risalpur academy, where he was invited as the chief guest.
133 GD pilots, 78 students of engineering and 13 graduating in A&SD courses took part in the parade.
The best performing cadets were presented with awards at the ceremony.
Flight officer Kashif Hayat was awarded with Chairman Joint Chief of Staff trophy, while the chief of Air Staff trophy was given to pilot Ahsen Naveed, who also received the ceremonial sword.
Pilot Officer Sikandar Waseem was awarded the Chief of Air Staff trophy for best flying performance, while Fida Mohammad Khan received an honorary sword for his performance.
Pilot officer Mohammad Usama received an award for best performance.
