Aamir believes ‘Secret Superstar’ goes one step further than ‘Dangal’
BEIJING: Blockbuster ‘Secret Superstar’ will go one step further than previous super hit movie Dangal, said Aamir Khan here on Tuesday.
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan arrived in Beijing Tuesday to promote his latest movie ‘Secret Superstar’ in China, accompanied by film’s writer Advait Chandan and young start Zaira Wasim.
Addressing a vibrant audience at local hotel in Beijing he said, “I am very happy to be here, this is my third time here in China and each time I get so much love and warm welcome from Chinese people”
He further said, Secret Superstar is a story about mother and daughter, “I think it also goes one step further than Dangal” in what is trying to see is ambitions and larger than Dangal in many ways. I and my wife love this story and script and we are very happy to be part of this film.
Aamir also played table tennis with Chinese friends on the stage, which much appreciated by audience.
Aamir Khan’s movies “3 Idiots”, “PK” and “Dangal” are very popular in China. Even Chinese president Xi Jinping watched Dangal and liked it. Dangal earned around 200 million US dollars across China.
