ATC releases two accused in Hamza murder case
KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) heard the murder case of Hamza Ahmed and released two accused Abid Hussain and Naveed Ahmed.

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) heard the murder case of Hamza Ahmed and released two accused Abid Hussain and Naveed Ahmed.
The two accused were released under section 497 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The hearing of the case has been adjourned till April 6.
O-Level student Hamza Ahmed was allegedly gunned down by the security guard of his schoolmate Shoaib Naveed after the two engaged in a heated argument outside a restaurant in DHA on April 27, 2013.
According to the prosecution, Shoaib met Hamza outside a restaurant to settle a dispute, but their discussion turned tense and Hamza allegedly slapped Shoaib. Shoaib’s security guard Ammal Rehman reacted violently and allegedly shot dead Hamza.
