PESHAWAR: Tremors were felt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday night.

PESHAWAR: Tremors were felt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday night.
According to reports, the earthquake was felt in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan and registered a 5 on the Richter scale.
Meanwhile the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported the quake as a 5.1 on the Richter scale in the Hindu Kush region approximately 280 Kilometers north of Peshawar and 180 Kilometers south of Khorugh in Tajikistan.
The EMSC registered the epicenter of the quake to be approximately 80 kilometers below the surface.
