OKARA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday termed former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as culprit of the nation, adding he was not brave enough to launch a movement against judiciary.
Addressing party workers and supporters here, the PTI chief asked what movement did the former premier launch during the Musharraf era.
Nawaz Sharif will start praising the court today if it acquits him in all the cases, Imran remarked.
He said that the PML-N wants a judiciary like that of Justice Abdul Qayyum’s era when Shahbaz Sharif was used to dictate decisions over phone.
While addressing the former premier, the PTI chief said that you (Nawaz) were comparing your case with that of mine. I have never been in the government and corruption is done when you hold a public office.
PTI has been in the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for over four years. Ask anyone that have I set up any factory, taken a loan or indulged in nepotism there, Imran said.
