LONDON: The former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and finance minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday held a meeting at the residence of Hassan Nawaz in London, discussing prevailing situation and other issues regarding the legal proceedings they have been facing in the country.
It is learnt that the meeting was held at the residence of Nawaz Sharif’s younger son Hassan Nawaz in London, where Maryam Nawaz and other members of Sharif family were also present during the discussion.
The meeting was held hours after the Accountability Court’s decision in which Dar was declared absconder.
It is to mention here that an accountability court earlier on Monday declared former finance minster Ishaq Dar an absconder after he repeatedly failed to appear before the court in corruption cases.
The court also ordered Dar to submit surety bonds within three days, adding that in case of failure, the authorities would seize his assets.
Ishaq Dar has been in London for some time now, where he is said to be undergoing medical treatment.
