Two civilians martyred as Indian troops target funeral across LOC

RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday said that two civilians were martyred while a woman was injured as Indian forces made another ceasefire violation, targeting a funeral procession at Chaffar village in Chirikot sector along the Line of Control (LoC).
According to ISPR, Indian army targeted the funeral procession at Chaffar village in Chirikot sector along the Line of Control (LoC), leaving two civilians martyred.
The Pakistan Army responded effectively and destroyed an Indian post from where the unprovoked firing originated, leaving at least one Indian troop dead, and five soldiers wounded, said the statement.
