Pakistan People Party leader Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri are due to meet in Lahore today, Geo TV reported on Thursday.
The PPP co-chairman telephoned the PAT chief and exchanges view on Baqar Najfi commission report on Model Twon Tragedy.
Both the leaders agreed to take the elements responsible for the massacre of PAT workers to a logical end.
Quoting sources, Geo TV reported that Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Dr Qayum Soomoro will be accompanying Asif Zardari in his meeting with Qadri.
Khursheed Shah confirmed that the meeting is taking place on the invitation of Tahirul Qadri, but downplayed it saying it was not extra ordinary since both the parties were already in touch.
He said beside prevailing political situation, all other issues including how to rid the country of state of instability would come under discussion during the meeting.
