ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sanaullha should immediately resign for what he said killing Pakistani citizens.
The PTI chairman made the demand in a Twitter message a day after the Punjab government released an inquiry report on Model Town tragedy.
The report was made public on the orders of a full bench of the Lahore High Court .
At least 14 people were killed and over 90 others injured during clashes between police and activists of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek in June 2014.
The clashes haderupted after authorities moved in to remove encroachments in front of the residence of PAT chief Allama Tahirul Qadri.
