LAHORE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz has left for London from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, Geo News reported on Tuesday.
Sharif is expected to spend a month in London where his wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz in undergoing treatment for cancer.
The accountability court hearing corruption references against Nawaz Sharif on Monday granted him exemption from hearing for a week.
