LAHORE: Former PTI leader MNA Ayesha Gulalai has announced to contest next elections against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
Addressing a press conference here Monday, Gulalai said, “I don’t need ticket of any party for contesting elections. I will announce my future course of action in three to four months.”
Neither Imran Khan nor Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are good for Pakistan, former PTI leader remarked.
Commenting on recent protests in the country, Ayesha Gulalai said sit-ins over the issue of Khatam-e-Nabuwat were held for the right cause however, I am not agreed the way it was adopted. “Closing down the streets was a wrong step,” she added.
She praised the role of Army in resolving the issue amicably.
