Des Moines, US: Three new lion cubs had their first physical checkup after one week of their birth in Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines, Iowa.
The check up was carried out to make sure that the cubs were doing fine. Their heartbeat was checked, their weight calculated and their measurements taken to record their growth.
The cubs will be vaccinated for a few months to ensure their healthy growth. It is important to conserve animal species of our planet in view of the fast degradation of our environments and habitats.
