KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has decided to bring in a new deputy mayor in place of Dr Arshad Vohra.
Sources said that the party had summoned a meeting of the Rabita Committee to make a final decision in this connection.
The MQM-P is likely to move a no-confidence motion against Dr Arshad Vohra in the City Council as it had also sought details from the its UC chairmen.
The sources said that the names of Arshad Hassan, Naeemud Din and Nadeem Hasmi were being considered for the slot of deputy mayor.
Earlier in October this year, Deputy Mayor Dr Arshad Vohra had quit MQM-P and joined the Pak Sarzamen Party.
