Netizens praise Peshawar police official for efforts in op against terrorists

PESHAWAR: Leading the operation aimed at wiping out terrorists that had attacked Agriculture Institute of Peshawar early morning on Friday, SSP Operations Sajjad Khattak has risen as an unforgiving force.

The officer’s valiant effort of arriving at the place instantly in sleepwear could not go unnoticed as a number of people started pouring in comments and posts on social media to commend him for his bravery.

Successfully leading the operation to its conclusion that eventually resulted in the killing of all the attackers, Officer Sajjad Khattak was summoned to duty while he was sleeping. This act of his is since then being praised from everyone.

“When we have officers like him who leads from the front, you don't need to worry. Salute to SSP operations Sajjad Khan @SajjadK7 and CCPO Peshawar Tahir Khan for doing a commendable job,” writes an internet user Najiullah Khattak.

Another one wrote: "SSP #Peshawar Sajjad Khan, who reached to the spot in sleeping dress. This is the level of dedication of the command of KP Police. #Respect”

“Hero of the day SSP Operations #Peshawar @SajjadK7 and KPK Police saved the day today,” posted another.

The attack that  claimed the lives of eleven people including six students left 30 other injured.

It was also reported that terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed the responsibility of the attack.
