Four Tehreek-e-Taliban men gunned down in Faisalabad encounter
Counter Terriorism Department (CTD) claimed to have killed four suspected terrorists belonged to banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban in an alleged late night encounter at Sargodha Road, Faisalabad on Friday.
FAISALABAD: Counter Terriorism Department (CTD) claimed to have killed four suspected terrorists belonged to banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban in an alleged late night encounter at Sargodha Road, Faisalabad on Friday.
According to CTD, as the security personnel, deployed at Sargodha Road, approached to search men who were riding bikes, they suddenly restored to firing. CTD police effectively responded and in retaliation four of them got killed, while three others managed to escape the scene having an advantage of darkness, spokesperson of CTD added.
CTD has claimed to have recovered a huge quantity of ammunition and explosive from the custody of the terrorists who said to be affiliated with banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban.
While, heavy contingent of police have been called in the area to launch search operation to apprehend the accomplices of the killed terrorists.
