LAHORE: The third day of Faiz International Festival concluded here at the Alhamra Arts Council on Sunday.
The three-day festival included 25 sessions of discussions about the work of Faiz where a large number of poetry lovers, enthusiasts, writers, academics, critics, artists and professionals participated.
The event organized poetry, debates, discussions, performances, book launches and indoor activities throughout the three-day event.
Discussions included Faiz’s life, his work and their interpretations. Some sessions talked about lyricism in Faiz’s poetry, while others discussed the characters, places and events in Faiz’s work.
The festival was a great success and it will be helpful in promoting Faiz's progressive prose and poetry among the future generations.
