ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif termed the attacks on churches in Lahore as attacks on the State and not just the Christian community.
Condemning the attacks in Lahore on Sunday, the premier said that he respects the services of the Christian community for Pakistan likening them to Pakistan’s dignity and pride. The premier added that he will sit down with the Christian community to allay their concerns.
Nawaz Sharif reiterated the government’s resolve towards eliminating terrorism from Pakistan.
