Punjab LG polls: ECP announces schedule for delimitation of constituencies
LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday announced the detailed schedule for delimitation of constituencies for the Punjab Local Government (LG) elections.
According to the schedule, the different stages of the delimitation process will continue from 16 March to 28 July.
The ECP also notified all delimitation officers as well as assistant officers in all the districts regarding the dates.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the ECP to hold LG polls in Punjab and Sindh on September 20.
A three member bench also directed the ECP to conduct LG polls in Islamabad on July 25.
The court has strictly ordered the ECP to ensure the holding of LG polls on the prescribed dates.
