PPP, MQM discuss options for Senate chairmanship
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) delegation on Monday held a meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leadership to discuss candidates for yet-to-be-filled slots of chairman and deputy chairman for the upper house of the Parliament.
According to details, PPP Senators Raza Rabbani and Qayyum Soomro represented the party in the above meeting.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) delegation on Monday held a meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leadership to discuss candidates for yet-to-be-filled slots of chairman and deputy chairman for the upper house of the Parliament.
According to details, PPP Senators Raza Rabbani and Qayyum Soomro represented the party in the above meeting.
Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Senator Raza Rabbani said his party has not nominated anyone for the key posts of Senate chairman and deputy chairman.
He said the PPP will come to its decision after holding consultations with allies.
