ISLAMABAD: Government has been taking measures to ensure peace in Balochistan as today law and order is better then 2013, when the PML-N came into power, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Saturday.
Speaking to the media after chairing a meeting to review law and order situation in the province, the prime minister said terrorism would be defeated and masses would be provided protection.
He said development schemes initiated by the former prime minister would be completed in the province.
He said that tube-wells would be converted to solar power and this project would be completed in three phases. A new water project would also be launched in the province, Abbasi added.
Two social sector schemes had been planed for the province. Gas supply projects would be started in every district headquarter.
He went on to say that an elected government was actually an establishment. The people of Pakistan would give their decision in the next elections.
He said that the network of BISP would be extended in entire Balochistan.
New gas reserves would be explored in Balochistan as the province is among the top priorities of his government.
He denied there was any clash among the national institutions.
