Election tribunal directs NADRA to confirm voter thumb impression
ISLAMABAD: The election tribunal on Wednesday gave its reply to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s plea regarding voters’ thumb impressions.
The tribunal hearing the NA-122 and PP-147 case accepted Khan’s plea and directed the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to confirm the verification of thumb impression of voters.
In addition, the tribunal also ordered NADRA to verify the electoral record

ISLAMABAD: The election tribunal on Wednesday gave its reply to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s plea regarding voters’ thumb impressions.
The tribunal hearing the NA-122 and PP-147 case accepted Khan’s plea and directed the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to confirm the verification of thumb impression of voters.
In addition, the tribunal also ordered NADRA to verify the electoral record of all the ballot papers of candidates from the two constituencies.
The tribunal has asked for a report on both matters within a month from NADRA.
During the previous hearing on February 27, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s counsel had objected to the application of Imran Khan saying that he was employing delaying tactics.
