Altaf for courageous steps to end sectarianism
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday demanded of the government to arrest those who attacked former Punjab governor Salman Taseer’s death anniversary in Lahore.

According to a statement issued here, MQM leader urged the civilian and military leadership to take courageous steps to end sectarianism in the largest interest of the country, asking the government to immediately ban the speeches of leaders of banned outfits.

“Angles won’t come from the sky to make Pakistan a strong and stabilized country”, MQM chief said.

He demanded of the government to immediately arrest the controversial Lal Masjid cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz in the light of the FIR registered against him.
