KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party leader Sharjeel Inam Memon has asked Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to place Hussain Nawaz’s name on Exit Control List (ECL).
Speaking to media after appearing before Accountability Court in NAB reference case here Tuesday, Sharjeel challenged interior minister to dare placing name of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son on ECL as he was facing Joint Investigation Team over offshore assets probe.
“Mian sahib (Nawaz Sharif) will not remove you from job, so show encourage and place Hussain Nawaz’s name on ECL,” Sharjeel asked Chaudhry Nisar Ali, adding that if you are following the law of the land in its letter and spirit, put the name Sharif family on the ECL.
Lashing out at PM Nawaz and his family, PPP leader said, there is complete monarchy in Pakistan and Sharif family is enjoying absolute rule. Opponents are being implicated in fake cases, he alleged.
Sharjeel Memon also claimed that his name was put on ECL at a time when there was no case registered against him.
