RAWALPINDI: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat, who is on an official visit to Turkey, met with the Turkish Chief of General Staff on Thursday.
An ISPR statement said that the CJCSC also met with the Turkey’s naval and army commanders and discussed matters of mutual interest and security challenges.
Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat was honoured with the Legion of Merit medal, the statement added.
Earlier upon arrival at the Turk General Staff Headquarters, the CJCSC was presented a guard of honour.
