Pakistan strongly condemns Manchester blast

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly condemned terrorist incident in Manchester, United Kingdom in which at least 22 people were killed and more than 50 others injured.

Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria said, “Pakistan expresses solidarity with the government and people of UK and offers condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the recovery of injured.”

The spokesman went on to say, PM Nawaz has also strongly condemned the explosion. “Pakistan stands in solidarity with the government and people of UK against all forms of terrorism,” Nafees Zakaria quoted PM Nawaz Sharif as saying.

The Prime Minister said, “Elimination of terrorism requires concentrated efforts. Such acts targeted towards innocent people is highly condemnable.”
