Abdul Wali Khan University to reopen from next week after Mashal’s death

MARDAN: The Abdul Wali Khan University’s main campus in Mardan, which was closed on April 13 following the murder of Mashal Khan, will reopen on May 22.
A meeting of the varsity’s syndicate committee decided this here on Friday.
The Garden campus where Mashal was killed will resume academic activities on May 25 while classes at Shankar branch will resume on May 24.
Sources said that the decision to reopen the university campuses in phases had been taken keeping in view the security concerns.
