PEMRA issues reminder to TV channels to follow Ramazan guidelines

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has issued reminder to all satellite TV channels and FM radio stations to strictly follow the Ramazan guidelines.

The regulatory body said PEMRA will constantly be monitoring the upcoming Ramazan transmissions of all the channels and FM radio stations. It warned that strict action will be taken against those violating the Electronic Media Code of Conduct 2015 and as well Ramazan guidelines as per law.

PEMRA had issued Ramazan guidelines to all satellite TV channels and FM radio stations on May 03.
