ISLAMABAD: General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) on Thursday met Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman here at the Air Headquarters.
Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman received General Zubair Mahmood Hayat on arrival.
The CJCSC was briefed on the structure, role and functioning of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat, later, called on the Air Chief at his office and discussed matters of professional interest.
The Air Chief apprised the CJCSC about various ongoing modernisation/upgradation programmes of the PAF.
Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat expressed his confidence in PAF’s operational preparedness.
